The tour operators Brothers Cronjé - are very experienced in the field of organising motorcycle tours. They have travelled through South Africa from Polokwane in the North to Cape Town in the South on motorbikes. Just to widen their horizons they have also toured parts of the USA (Florida, 1999 & The Blue Ridge Parkway, 2001) as well as the south west of England (Hampshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, 2003).

We have BMW's exclusively. BMW's have proven themselves over the years as competent long distance tourers (in terms of comfort, safety, reliability, maintenance and fuel consumption). With the exclusion of a classic R100 RS 1984 model (which has done thousands of kilometers on our different tours), we have new models R1150 RT's and R1150 GS's. We also have now the new R 1200 RT and R1200 GS as part of our fleet. One will have to seek far for a more comfortable tourer as the RT. Because all our tours include at least one long stretch and we mostly use tarred roads, the RT is ideal. The GS is of course more versatile and although a comfortable tourer, you can also deviate to other routes with ease. This is especially needed to reach beautiful far off villages on the West Coast (Tour 3) like Dwarskersbos en Elandsbaai on a gravel road. The GS also shows it's full potential on the Mozambique leg (an additional option to Tour 1) where roads are not in a too great condition. Some of our lady clients (yes, we do get those as well) specifically ask for the BMW F 650; a smaller and lighter bike but nothing wrong with to tackle the long road.
